2. Interviewing and hiring a real estate professional (Realtor).
3. Make a list of needs and wants for your ideal home.
4. Work alongside your Realtor to compile a list of homes to view.
5. Visit multiple open houses together and openly communicate with your agent.
6. Work with your agent to make an offer and negotiate a deal that works for you.
7. Throughout the escrow process, you and your Realtor will work on many things together to ensure open communication with your lender, the escrow officer, the title officer, home inspector and much more.
8. Hire a licensed and insured home inspector.
9. Work with your chosen lender to ensure the timely arrival of the appraisal and close of escrow.
10. Attend the closing to get your keys. Congratulations: you're a homeowner now!
